MOB Trio: Quite Live in BrooklynMOB Trio: Quite Live in Brooklyn (OmniTone 12207)

The "Tightest Untight Band" in jazz is back with a second musical offering on OmniTone, captured in the MOB Trio's favorite setting —performing live in concert.  Following in the footsteps of MOB's previous release on OmniTone, Loose, Quite Live in Brooklyn is full of the emotional impact and good ol' fun they're known for, MOB tells more great stories and grooves their way through tunes that jump with intensity.

Excellent live recording at Barbès in Brooklyn captures energy and good-time vibe of three consummate composer-improvisers who know how to "ham it up" with an audience.

According to saxophonist Ohad Talmor, "This is our concept of tantric music; it comes at a very specific time of night."
